Great Potential of Solid Oxide Fuel Cells for Stationary Use says Rolls Royce

The Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) is the most commercially feasible version of the fuel cell for fixed, stationary use. Capable of being used with a variety of hydrogen-bearing fuels, this technology seems to have an excellent chance of commercial feasibility within the the next few years. Rolls Royce America and other next-generation energy companies are working on different concepts for SOFC to make the solid oxide fuel cell more economical.
