R12 Refrigerant, R-12 or R 12 or Freon 12: Properties Advantages & Disadvantages

Refrigerant R12 or Freon 12 is said to be the most widely used of all the refrigerants being used for different applications. The chemical name of refrigerant R12 is dichlorodifluoromethane and its chemical formula is CCl2F2. This articles describes the properties, advantages, and disadvantages of refrigerant R-12.
