Linear Induction Motor Research

This article is based on linear induction motor research, and the future technologies of linear induction motor. We start by looking at current projects and plans, such as the US Navy's plans to make catapults and arrestors based on linear induction motors and NASA's plans to rail-launch spacecraft the same way. We also look at the Speedway Transport System, a novel approach that provides motive power for car without having to run the cars' engines.
